PA 6 GF35 is adding 35% glass fiber to the base material of PA6. This material is significantly better than PA66 GF in most applications such as engine compartments. Compared with the PA66 grade with the same glass fiber content, it has high cost-effectiveness and high continuous use temperature.
The engine cooler integrated intake manifold is made of PA6 GF35, which has heat aging resistance and excellent vibration welding strength, and has good performance in high temperature applications. The purpose of plasticizing the intake manifold is not only to reduce weight, but also because the inner and outer surfaces of the PA6 GF35 intake manifold are smooth, and air flow resistance is small, which can improve fuel efficiency and improve engine performance. In addition, it also plays a role in reducing fuel consumption and noise.
